beerbattls is not tied to a living room, TV, or console. A power bank and a local network are all you need.
On the go, simply open a smartphone hotspot, connect the device, and let your friends join. The game runs locally over Wi-Fi – ideal for festivals, birthdays, house parties, club nights, or your next trip.
Everyone plays on their own smartphone. That keeps the group together while every player is directly involved and the next round can start right away.
Finally, your two favorite activities come together: drinking beer + playing crazy games with friends.
We have not even launched yet, and more than 100 games are already built in. We plan to release new games every month and are looking forward to ideas from the community.
The game library keeps growing – from fast-paced reaction games and creative group showdowns to quizzes and trivia rounds.
No complicated setup and no lengthy rules: add your drink, connect, choose a game, and beerbattls handles the game-controlled dispensing.
Fill beerbattls with your favorite drink – alcoholic or non-alcoholic.
Up to eight players join via local Wi-Fi or a hotspot.
Start a quiz, reaction game, group showdown, or party classic.
beerbattls decides when and how much is dispensed.
Fast mini-games, quiz rounds, team showdowns, and party classics – right on everyone’s smartphones.
Classic party games say: “Take a sip.” But how much is a sip, exactly?
beerbattls measures the amount automatically and links it directly to the game. No debates about quantities, less cheating – and every round gets a real, physical outcome.
The idea: smartphones stop being party killers and become shared controllers for an experience everyone enjoys together.
beerbattls was not developed at a desk alone. The prototype has already been used in spontaneous outdoor sessions, private parties, while traveling, and on a startup stage.
At the Isar, beerbattls could be tested exactly where the product is meant to work: right in the middle of a real group, outdoors, and outside a staged event setting.
Different places, different groups – the same question: does beerbattls work outside a demo setting too?
MunichA straightforward outdoor test with several players, smartphones, and a group that could jump in together immediately.
AugsburgAway from wall outlets and living rooms, we tested how quickly the setup is ready and how fast the group gets into the game.
AugsburgAt a private party, what matters most is that the hardware and controls work quietly in the background while the group has fun.
ItalyThe prototype came along on the trip – a good test of how portable the setup is and how spontaneous rounds feel in a new environment.
NurembergIn front of visitors, founders, and potential partners, we tested publicly for the first time how quickly the concept is understood and how well it works live.
After every round, the community can rate mini-games. Popular games rise in the rankings, and your feedback helps shape which modes, features, and ideas we develop next.
